Under the headline "Peace of mind is back on the streets", the paper published this photo of the town centre...
...complete with a man seemingly dipping into his friend's pocket - under the noses of the officers behind them.
Photographer Jon Hindmarch was the man behind the lens, snapping PC Mark Smith and Special Constable Peter Wan on the beat.
