Photography prize worth £10,000 up for grabs

A cash prize of £10,000 is up for grabs in the third annual Landscape Photographer of the Year competition.

Called 'Take a View', it celebrates the best photography of the great outdoors across the UK and is held in association with Natural England and the English National Park Authorities.

There are four prize categories – classic view, living the view, your view and phone view for shots taken with a mobile phone.

The single best image will take home the top prize while £1,000 will go to each category winner and £500 to the runners-up.

Winning and commended images will also feature in a seven-week exhibition at the National Theatre, in London, which was visited by over 70,000 people last year.

A book will also be produced of the winning images which will be launched at the exhibition.

The closing date for entries is 15 July – visit take-a-view.co.uk for full competition details and to enter.
