It's a photographic family affair at the footy

It was a real family affair at a recent football match when a former regional press chief photographer did battle with his two sons for the perfect shot.

Dave Bagnall, who left the Express and Star 18 months ago to go freelance, lined up alongside his sons Sam and Ed at the Wolverhampton Wanderers match against Blackpool.

Sam has just left the Birmingham Post and Mail after ten years in their round of recent redundancies so is now going head-to-head with his father to secure those freelance commissions.

Meanwhile, Dave's other son Ed recently joined the Express and Star from its sister title the Shropshire Star.

Dave, who now runs Cameramac Photography, said: "I have told Sam we can share some assignments.

"He can have the one's at night or when it's raining and I'll have the jobs in the day when the sun shines."

Dave said the trio were still smiling at the end of match as Wolves won the clash 2-0.
