Sharp-eyed Manchester Evening News photographer Chris Gleave - in the Ukraine to cover United's Champions' League with Dynamo Kiev - spotted a picture which made the news pages of his paper.
On a city market stall he saw a set of traditional Russian dolls which had been painted with images of United stars David Beckham, Gary Neville, Jaap Stam, Paul Scholes and Ryan Giggs.
Chris snapped a picture of the tacky souvenirs, but pointed out that the images had clearly been copied from some old photographs.
Both Beckham and Stam were pictured with full heads of hair.
