Journalist's bone marrow transplant is broadcast on Internet

A journalist who is fighting a form of leukaemia thought never to have been seen before has had his bone marrow transplant broadcast on the Internet.

Adrian Sudbury, from the Huddersfield Daily Examiner, was diagnosed with two distinct types of the disease running at the same time, and in a bid to raise awareness and encourage more people to become donors, he began writing a blog.

Last month he told HoldtheFrontPage he hoped to record the transplant on video, and this has now been uploaded onto his blog.
