New look website for Scottish titles

The new website for three of Scotland's biggest newspapers has been launched.

After months of preparation Johnston Press has finally unveiled the new look websites for The Scotsman, Edinburgh Evening News and Scotland on Sunday.

The sites have been undergoing extensive work for several months in preparation for the big relaunch.

The company claims that the new sites incorporate a number of significant improvements including more multimedia and reader interactivity.

There are also improved navigation links and search capabilities as well as a live webcam and regularly updated video posts of news stories.

User registration details from the old site have also been carried over so regular visitors don't have to re-register.

They will continue to publish their Paperboy and Scottish Business Briefing free daily news e-mails.
