Journalist Tamlyn Jones has joined holdthefrontpage.co.uk, replacing Nikki Sargeson, who left for a role in marketing.

Tamlyn, (right), joins us from the Midlands News Association where he worked for their weekly titles in the Black Country and Stafford before transferring to the Shropshire Star.

Tamlyn, (31), originates from Shrewsbury and studied German and journalism at the University of Central Lancashire before travelling and working abroad.

He later studied for his NCTJ qualifications at Nottingham Trent University before taking his first journalism job with Wolverhampton Chronicle.
