Student website revamp for Evening Post initiative

The Lancashire Evening Post has revamped its student website in the hope of attracting some of the best young journalists currently studying in the region.

The new interactive 'The Student', presenting video guides, blogs and the chance for up and coming writers to showcase their talent, has already received early support from students at the University of Central Lancashire.

Post community reporter, Josie Hill, who will be on hand to offer support and guidance to anyone using 'The Student', believes that it will prove a useful resource for young broadcasters and writers wishing to share their own news and stories.

In the run up to its launch, third year journalism students at UCLan have been getting involved by producing a collection of university video guides that offer a welcome insight into student life.
