Glasgow Herald chief reporter Lucy Adams has won the Nations and Regions award at Amnesty International’s 16th media awards.
The prize was for her article, Haunted, from The Herald Magazine last July, which looked at how war-torn Liberia was being reconstructed under the continent’s first female leader, Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf.
