The Target series of newspapers covering Grimsby and Cleethorpes are being replaced by a new free weekly, Life.
The last Target was published this week after 24 years in the area.
The Target has had several different guises and content changes over the years but has always run alongside the Telegraph.
Life will be a newspaper in its own right, with completely separate content, as opposed to some of the same stories re-written.
Grimsby Telegraph editor Michelle Lalor has spearheaded the launch of Life.
She said: "Here at Grimsby and Scunthorpe Media Group, we are proud of our range of products, which includes the daily paper, the monthly Journal and, of course, our website – thisisgrimsby.co.uk
"Life is a tremendous addition to our portfolio and we are sure that local people will enjoy reading it as much as we have enjoyed creating it.
"Life also offers a tremendous opportunity for local business, providing a great new product in which they can advertise."
The new paper is designed to look at the lighter side of local life, and aims to put a smile on readers’ faces.
Nicola Kemplay enjoys reading the new Life
paper, which has a 65,000+ distribution
