Press day pancake race leaves news team with a sense of déjà vu

Tuesday may have been press day at the Welwyn & Hatfield Times - but it was also Pancake Day and staff at the paper were determined not to miss out.

As their deadline approached, news editor Chris Lennon took a break from the office to take part in the second annual Welwyn Garden City pancake race.

He was joined by chief reporter Kelly-Ann Kiernan, reporter Laurel Smithson and Mark Hemmings from sister paper the East Herts Herald.
