Belfast Telegraph launches online television service

The Belfast Telegraph has launched its own online television service - Belfast Telegraph TV.

Each day it will provide three updated news bulletins, presented by three professional broadcasters from Macmillan Media.

Some of the paper's best and exclusive stories of the day will also be included into the bulletins, as will the weather and a weekly entertainment guide.

It will also be used to promote some of the Telegraph's special services such as JobFinder, HomeFinder and Business Telegraph.

Telegraph editor Martin Lindsay said: "Belfast Telegraph TV is an online fusion of the regional news agenda of newspaper journalists and professional broadcasters.

"Brought from our newsrooms in the heart of Belfast through the Macmillan Media broadcast operation, our aim is not just to bring the day's general rolling news in bite size chunks for busy people.

"It is also to distill some of our best stories into that bulletin."
