PA Group has agreed a deal with online news aggregator, Topix.net to supply news content to the site.
PA content - a constantly updated feed of top UK news, sport and business stories - will be hosted within the Topix.net site, alongside content from other news providers from around the world.
Tony Watson, editor-in-chief of The Press Association said: "We are delighted to have agreed this deal with Topix.net and are looking to continue enhancing PA Group's reputation as a supplier of quality content to global news aggregators."
Archant Life’s Yorkshire Life magazine is celebrating its 60th anniversary by inviting readers to help plant a woodland.
The new woodland is being created in the Yorkshire Dales as part of a campaign to reforest one of the country’s most visited national parks.
The 7.4 acre site is at Chapel Fell, above Malham Tarn in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales National Park and is being planted by a unique partnership between the Archant Life magazine, Bettys & Taylors of Harrogate and the Yorkshire Dales Millennium Trust.
The deadline for photographic entries for the 2006/7 Commonwealth Photographic Awards has been extended to January 31.

The Press Association has launched a new nationally recognised qualification in media management for staff who have completed the company's internal training programme.
Accredited by the awarding body NCFE, it is believed to be the first of its kind in the industry. The first six managers have already been awarded their Certificate in Media Management after undergoing an extensive assessment process.
The NCTJ has had its Investors in People status renewed following a successful assessment visit.
Independent assessor, Jackie Clifford, visited The New Granary on December 11 and spent the day interviewing staff. She also attended the weekly staff meeting where she was able to see staff communication first-hand.
