Daily online news now broadcast direct from Devon newsroom

The Herald Express in Torquay has unveiled a new video service on its website thisissouthdevon.co.uk.

Web browsers can now see a daily video clip from the Herald Express newsroom, in which reporters and the newsdesk team outline the contents of the day’s printed newspaper, then preview some of the stories and features lined up for the following day.

This now runs on the website alongside the selection of video clips already available, showing stories and scenic films.

Flooding and storm damage form two of the more serious video downloads.

Animals at Paignton Zoo and black swans in the sea off Torquay provide the other end of the spectrum.
