Post pulps final edition after PA picture mix-up

Copies of the Bristol Evening Post were recalled and reprinted after a Press Association picture - mistakenly thought to be of cricketer Marcus Trescothick - was published on its front page.

The paper used the image for its final edition after receiving it on the PA newswire, but later discovered it was actually of a South African businessman.

The Post was alerted to the mistake by a local agency, and then quickly set about removing copies from sale.
