Deputy editor says farewell to Times Gazette after 15 years

Tavistock Times Gazette deputy editor, Roger Malone, has left the paper after 15 years to join Westcountry Publications in Plymouth.

Roger, (55), has joined the AD-ED department which produces property, motoring and features content for use in the Western Morning News and the Evening Herald, Plymouth.

It also supplies features and advertising features to other titles in the group.

Roger is making a return to the Western Morning News having previously worked there for 17 years. He left to become press officer at the Theatre Royal, Plymouth.

He is married with three children and his wife, Liz, also works in the AD-ED department.

He is succeeded at Tavistock by Jane Honey, who has been a reporter at the weekly paper for eight years.
