The Gloucestershire Gazette series has brought its publication day forward by one day, from a Friday to a Thursday, in a bid to attract more readers and advertisers.

Both user groups have greeted the move positively with an extra day before the weekend for the newspaper to be enjoyed.

The three-edition weekly in the south Cotswolds covers Dursley and Wotton-under-Edge area in Gloucestershire, Thornbury and Yate and Sodbury in South Gloucestershire.
