The Western Daily Press has teamed up with Barclays to hand out a share of £25,000 to 13 schools for them to improve facilities.
Primary schools in its circulation area will have the chance to bid for cash, with schools whose pupils collect the most tokens for the size of their school getting money to complete their project.
The fund - of one £10,000 prize, two £2,500 prizes and 10 prizes of £1,000 - could be used for anything, including new sports equipment, an after-school club or to give tired classrooms a lick of paint.
Schools have to register first, with details of their idea, and tokens will be printed from Saturday October 7 for three weeks.
Cash for Schools tokens can be submitted at schools, to the Western Daily Press or at branches of Barclays.
