Crash diet reporter loses 4st in 100 days

Ipswich Evening Star reporter Rebecca Lefort has told how she has lost 4st after going without food for 100 days.

The 23-year-old has been consuming less than 500 calories a day by following a special plan which replaces food with nutrient shakes or soups.

And she is now more than half-way to her target weight of 11st.

  • Before and after
  • Rebecca told HoldtheFrontPage: "I'm over the moon about it.

"It's going really well and is the best thing I've ever done.

"I realise it's not for everyone, but I'm an all or nothing type of person and this is an all or nothing type of diet."

Rebecca began her extreme 'Lighter Life' diet in May, and since then has been keeping an online diary so that readers can keep an eye on her progress.

She said: "I thought it would be helpful to get my thoughts down and people have been leaving feedback with support, which is nice, especially if I've been feeling low.

"I also feel that I can't chicken out. I didn't realise how helpful it would be."
