Archant Herts & Cambs special projects manager, Caroline Hyde, has been spending time behind bars to help raise money for charity.
She was put there as part of a Jail and Bail fundraiser to help raise vital money for the Anthony Nolan Trust.
Caroline was arrested at work for "lewd behaviour", handcuffed and escorted to the local police station in Royston.
After having her finger prints and mugshots added to the criminal database, Caroline was locked up with just her mobile phone until she raised her "bail" money.
Caroline attempts to raise her 'bail' money
Caroline said she decided to take part as the stunt sounded like a novel way to raise money for charity.
She said: "I was giggling the whole time from when the police van arrived with the sirens wailing until they put me in the cell.
"Once they had put me in there and closed the door and the communication window, I did get a bit freaked out. I was in the cell on my own for about three-quarters-of-an-hour, until they gave me a cell-mate. Having someone to talk to made a difference."
Through calls to local companies, friends and family, Caroline raised just over £800, which she is hoping will be doubled through Archant Gold, the group's match-funding scheme.
The Anthony Nolan Trust provides lifesaving donors for patients in need of a bone marrow transplant.
