Yorkshire Women's Life Magazine is celebrating its fifth year of existence by gaining its 1,000 website member.
The magazine was set up by Yorkshire journalists who realised that professional women, keen on writing themselves, had little to get stuck into by way of reading material.
After studying journalism, editor Dawn-Maria France launched the publication with Millennium Commission cash following extensive telemarketing research to find out exactly what women wanted.
The lifestyle magazine includes editorial about recommended books, celebrity interviews, restaurant and health spa reviews, high street fashion, international women's news and women's issues.
Since the launch, Dawn-Maria has won two prestigious awards for the publication including the Leeds Owl Award for showing initiative by providing frequent and relevant news stories for women and the Walking with Excellence Award for creating a topical, informative magazine for women.
She said: "Since the launch of the site we are reaching women as far away as Canada.
"The magazine still has a Yorkshire focus but it is ideal for women nationwide because it deals with issues that affect all the female population and encourages subscribers to write in and get their articles published where possible for the attention of thousands of other like-minded women."
