Finlay appointed publishing director at Kent Regional Newspapers

Lesley Finlay has been appointed publishing director of Kent Regional Newspapers.

Previously editor-in-chief of KRN, she will oversee the business as a whole, with responsibility for editorial and advertising.

Part of Trinity Mirror, KRN's titles include the East Kent Gazette, Isle of Thanet Gazette, Folkestone Herald, Dover Express and the Adscene series.

Prior to taking on her editor-in-chief role in 2003, Lesley had been editor of the Folkestone Herald, Dover Express and Adscene, and had also worked for The Sun and the Kent Messenger.

At the Yellow Advertiser, Scott Wood has been appointed as publishing director.

He had previously been advertising manager for the ten-edition Advertiser, and will now assume overall responsibility for the whole business.

He has worked for Trinity Mirror for 16 years in various roles, including advertising manager for the South London Press.
