New role for Harrow Times editor

Harrow Times editor Charlie Harris has now also become editor of sister titles the Ealing Times and Hillingdon Times.

The three newspapers have been brought together to form the Harrow Times Series, and are produced from offices in Watford.

The Ealing and Hillingdon titles had previously been produced in High Wycombe, as part of the Bucks Free Press group which is edited by Steve Cohen.

Before being appointed series editor, Charlie had edited the Harrow Times for six years in two separate stints, firstly as launch editor in 1997 and then rejoining the paper in 2003 after a break to edit a group of magazines owned by Newsquest.

Prior to that he was editorial manager for the Hendon Times group, deputy editor of the Watford Free Observer and deputy editor of the South Bucks Star.

He has also edited the Borehamwood Times and began his career on the Palmers Green and Southgate Gazette.

Both the Ealing Times and Hillingdon Times are free weeklies, while the Harrow Times has a small paid-for circulation in addition to being free. The series has an overall distribution of around 175,000.
