'Campaign King' meets 'Queen of the Jungle'

The ‘Campaign King’ met the ‘Queen of the Jungle’ at an awards ceremony in Manchester.

Don Hale, the editor of North Wales Living magazine, who has won numerous awards over the years for his campaigning stories, was a guest presenter, along with former Atomic Kitten star, and ex-winner of ‘I’m a celebrity, get me out of the jungle', Kerry Katona.

They were both guests at the Big Difference awards ceremony at Manchester’s Palace Hotel.

Don, who won last year’s Lifetime Achievement award, was also a judge for this year’s event, and presented one of the main prizes along with Home Office minister Hazel Blears MP, and BBC Radio Manchester presenters Allan Beswick and Heather Stott.

The event raised several thousands of pounds for the Big Difference organisation.
