A new editor has taken over at the Buckinghamshire Advertiser and Examiner.

Julie Voyce, (pictured), joins the Examiner and Advertiser newspapers from the St Albans Review and Observer newspapers where she worked as deputy editor.

Previouly she was news editor at the Bucks Free Press in High Wycombe.

Julie said: "I am really excited about joining the team. I have lots of ideas which I hope will help the newspaper become even better than it already is.

"I live locally so the news that affects readers affects me too."

Julie will be based at the 16,500-circulation newspapers' main office in Chalfont St Peter. Her editions cover South Bucks and the Chilterns.
