Lancaster and Morecambe Citizen reporter Matt Donlan has often been accused of having the look of a broken sofa.

Long, dirty overcoat and unkempt appearance are the usual for him - so his colleagues decided to do something about it.

Matt was sent for a makeover to a beauty salon, hairdressers and designer clothes shop in Lancaster - and the results were amazing.

"He even looks almost normal now," quipped one of the new-look reporter's colleagues.
