Star writer presented with MBE by Prince Charles

Shropshire Star journalist Shirley Tart has picked up her MBE at Buckingham Palace.

The paper's royal correspondent received the honour for services to the newspaper industry after being nominated in the Queen's Birthday Honours.

She was presented with her award by Prince Charles, who she has met on several occasions, and said it had been an unforgettable day.
