A restructure at publisher Archant Norfolk is to result in around 30 job losses, but editorial staff should escape redundancy due to open vacancies not being filled.
Most will be among advertisement production staff as a result of centres in Gorleston and Norwich being combined and based in a single unit in Norwich. The company says there are “no planned redundancies among editorial and advertising sales staff”.


A delegation from the World Association of Newspapers has met FIFA officials to discuss concerns about potential limits on newspaper coverage of the 2006 World Cup, notably on the right to publish photos on newspaper websites.
