Former Leeds journalists invited to return home

Journalists who used to work in Leeds or who are originally from the city are being invited to the launch of its new identity.

Next month Marketing Leeds, a company which has been set up to promote Leeds nationally and internationally, will host a one-off VIP event to re-launch the city.

And it is looking for journalists who consider themselves true 'Loiners' to return home for a complimentary trip where they will be shown how much their city has changed.

The company is keen to get the impressions of one-time residents on the newly-invigorated city, who are then willing to write about their experiences.

During the trip guests will be shown how much has changed in areas such as retail, property development, regeneration and nightlife.

The re-launch will be held on September 26. For more details contact David Child on 0113 285 6431 or david.child@poultergroup.com.
