Threat of more industrial action at Coventry

National Union of Journalists members at Coventry Newspapers say they plan to take further action next week in a protest over pay.

They have told management they plan to hold disruptive mandatory union meetings on one, some, or all of June 28, 29, 30 and July 1, if a meeting between the two sides on Friday fails to find a resolution.

The decision follows a 24-hour strike by NUJ members which was held last Friday.

Each mandatory union meeting could last up to six hours.
