Two local newspapers have named a woman who pleaded guilty to child neglect charges after taking her three-month old baby with her on a nine-hour drinking binge.
Western Gazette reporter Richard Birch and Mark Ford from the Western Daily Press successfully overturned a Section 39 order which had been imposed to protect the child, but the lifting of the order was suspended pending an appeal.
The mother's solicitor had originally planned to appeal against the lifting of the anonymity order, but has now decided against it.
