Sub-editor pounds the streets to raise pounds for charity

A Skegness Standard sub-editor has handed over more than £500 to the paper's adopted charity, the Skegness Talking Newspaper for the Blind.

Becky Baker, who works in the Lincolnshire Newspapers production department at Louth, took part in the Lincoln 10k run - and has already vowed to repeat the effort next year.

She said: "It was hell, I got a blister halfway round, it was very painful... but I'm doing it again next year because I'm determined to do it faster!"
