Journalism hopefuls are being given the chance to get hints and tips on how to break into the media industry at an open day in Manchester in March.
The Media Careers Information Day will be held at the Manchester International Convention Centre on March 10, and will include a series of seminars and interactive demonstrations.

This year's Ipswich Evening Star press ball will see magic and mystery come to life with 'An Enchanted Evening' theme.
Now in its ninth year, the annual event raises money for Ipswich-based charity Disability Care Enterprise.
Since 1997 the ball has raised £194,000, and it is hoped that this year's event, on June 24, will raise a further £20,000.


The Fraserburgh Herald's annual 'Shop Local' campaign in the run-up to Christmas generated almost £500,000 for the local economy.
The Archant Scotland title's promotion ran for six weeks with 56 local shops and businesses taking part.
