Newsquest Media Group has appointed Roger Green as managing director, Digital Media.

Previously managing director of Emap Online, he began his new role on September 20 and succeeds Simon Gray who left Newsquest earlier this year.
Roger, (52), had been managing director of Emap Online for five years, and has held a number of senior roles in publishing and new media during a 28-year career.
Since leaving Emap in 2002 he has acted as a consultant to British Waterways, developing the strategy and business plan for Waterscape.com.
Reporting to Newsquest chairman and chief executive Paul Davidson, Roger is based at the group's head office in Weybridge, Surrey.
The group publishes more than 75 regional portal and newspaper websites, supporting its portfolio of 17 daily titles and more than 250 weeklies.
