An online research service for journalists is celebrating after notching up more than 10,000 searches since its launch.
Response Source allows journalists to send free requests for information to up to 3,000 PR professionals in specific fields.
It is now attracting around 170 searches a week – a run-rate of nearly 9,000 per year.
Martin Scholes, a journalist on the Wellington News, said: "Response Source provides such a good service that any PR company or journalist who doesn't use it really is not doing their job properly."
Response Source was launched in 2001 by media information company Daryl Willcox Publishing after proving the concept in the technology sector on its Sourcewire site since 1998.
