ManchesterOnline launches business community

A new Internet-based business community has been launched by ManchesterOnline, aimed at helping small and medium-sized businesses in the North West become more successful.

The ManchesterOnline Business Community is being operated by the website ManchesterOnline, part of Guardian Media Group, which publishes the Manchester Evening News, and will be assisted by a multi-skilled business improvement team.

By joining the online community, the firms will be able to share resources, advice and experience with their counterparts across the region.

They will also benefit from a variety of services, including an advice helpline which members can contact with queries or issues such as staff problems, sales or credit control.

Each member will also have their own entry in a business directory on the website, which they can update themselves, and they will have the opportunity to upload press releases for publication on ManchesterOnline.

ManchesterOnline Business Community also includes details of forthcoming business improvement workshops, free to community members, covering topics such as making the most of staff and producing a business plan, together with details of tenders.
