Nicola Priest, (right), has been appointed as the new editor of the Warrington Guardian Series.
Her promotion is one of a number of editorial changes in Newsquest Cheshire. Currently deputy editor, Nicola succeeds Jan Lever who moves to the Blackburn centre as managing director.
The editors of Runcorn and Widnes World, internet and commercial features will report to Nicola.
Other editorial changes announced by Eleanor Underhill, publisher (and from January 1 managing director) of Guardian Series Newspapers, include:
Keith Morris, (left), editor of the Mid Cheshire Guardian Series, will take responsibility for editorial training and development across Guardian Series.
He will also assume editorial management responsibility for the company's Knutsford and South Cheshire titles.

And Alan Domville, currently commercial features editor, moves into a new role as Guardian Series motoring and special features editor.
Hayley Tutt, the acting deputy editor for Mid Cheshire Guardians, is confirmed in her position as deputy editor.
