Former National Union of Journalists headquarters Acorn House could be sold off as the union buys new offices in Glasgow and Dublin to replace rented accommodation there.
The current tenants of Acorn House, who pay £200,000 a year for the King's Cross property, plan to terminate their lease in 2007 so the union is considering its options.
