Most Haunted star Derek Acorah (left) has taken delivery of a signed ghost book from Northcliffe Electronic Publishing's Sue Walker.
Sue, the author of "Haunted Bristol" - the new NEP/Beehive and Bristol Evening Post book - has returned home from a hectic Hallowe'en weekend spent promoting her collection of spooky tales.
Her visit to Bristol included a book-signing session in the town's Waterstones bookshop - where first in the queue was a woman from the Bristol Paranormal Research Group who bought two copies for Sue to sign - one for Derek Acorah, the Liverpudlian medium who stars on Living TV's cult show Most Haunted.
Sue spent three hours in the store signing copies under the pen-name Sue Le'Queux - including 20 for people who had contacted the shop to request autographed copies in advance - and chatting to people about their ghostly experiences.
She also did three radio interviews during her stay in Bristol.
The first was for Classic Gold FM. Presenter Steve Fountain only planned to do a short interview, but in the end Sue spent two and a half hours with him discussing ghosts, the book and the book-signing session.
The second was for BBC Radio Bristol - who took Sue on a ghostly walkabout of some of the haunted spots featured in her book.
Sue said: "Luckily we were able to go backstage of the Old Vic theatre and also into the scenery painting area where a ghost has been seen several times. I met Jane Cooke whose story of the backstage ghost features in the book. She still doesn't know who the ghost is and I promised to let her know if I find anything further about him."
The final interview was for local community radio station Commonwealth FM. This took place in the White Hart pub, which dates back to 1448 and has been the scene of much poltergeist activity over the years.
Sue is also delighted that she has started to receive emails from people telling their tales of haunted Bristol after buying her book.
