The National Union of Journalists is calling a Pay in the Media Summit as part of its nationwide campaign against low pay.

The event will take place in London on Saturday, November 6.

The national campaign meeting will share the experience of important pay campaigns and successes of the past 12 months and work towards planning a national strategy around pay.

All local union chapels are being invited to send a delegate to the meeting, which is expected to play a key role in uniting pay campaigns, building more effective campaigning and developing a national campaign strategy for the coming year.

The conference venue is yet to be confirmed.
