Comic Eddie Large has sent a personal "get well" message to John Thompson, of the Bristol Evening Post, who recently suffered a heart attack.
The pair became good friends as John traced Eddie's recovery from a heart transplant operation and his successful return to the stage. John began his recovery on the same hospital ward where got his treatment.
