A team of daredevils from The Extra in Glagow have taken the plunge to complete a sponsored abseil for Macmillan Cancer Relief.
Reporter Craig Davidson, sales executive Scott Grindlay and Raymond Brindle from the production department joined more than 100 people to take part in the charity event and abseil down the side of the 150-foot Glasgow Marriot.

The team get ready to take the plunge
Team leader Craig, who has previously abseiled down and taken part in a zip slide from the Finnieston Crane, went first.
He said: "It is quite nerve-wracking when you are standing looking over the edge. But once you get past that it was really enjoyable - and the view across Glasgow is really spectacular.
"At first I looked down and thought it was quite a drop but then realised that I was actually looking at the roof of the building next door and that we were even higher up than I had originally thought.
"Everyone taking part was really supportive and we enjoyed being able to help such a good cause."
The tough trio raised more than £400 between them for the cancer charity, and hope to double their total by applying for match funding scheme through the company's Archant Gold scheme.
