Journalists worldwide are uniting as volunteers to help raise money for a charity which provides life-saving medical equipment for children with AIDS and HIV.
Kensington Times sports editor Mark Roach and BBC Berkshire reporter Linda Serck are two of the journalists who are volunteering their services to One World Beat, a global charity music festival.
Mark is giving up his free time to take on the role of UK Communications Manager for One World Beat. Linda is a UK media co-ordinator for One World Beat.
Other journalists in countries such as the US and the United Arab Emirates are also involved in the global volunteer effort.
One World Beat is a series of concerts taking place simultaneously in many countries worldwide on the weekend of March 19-21, and is set to be one of the biggest global charity music extravaganzas since Live Aid.
Phil Collins is a One World Beat supporter. There are 35 events worldwide confirmed so far, with more in the pipeline.
The Shepherds Bush Empire in London is one of the venues which has already registered to host a One World Beat event.
There are seven confirmed UK events so far. Other countries hosting One World Beat events include USA, Canada, South Africa, Brazil, Australia, New Zealand, France, Germany, Romania, Switzerland, Croatia, Burundi and Kenya.
Any journalists interested in volunteering some of their spare time to help spread the word about the festival can contact Mark Roach (e-mail: markroach@oneworldbeat.org) - more information about the festival is available on the One World Beat website.
