The Media Society, which brings together people from all branches of the media for debate, discussion and campaigning, celebrates its 30th anniversary this month.
It is holding a celebration party next month for members to look back over the past three decades - and meet their old friends.
They will be getting together at The Reform Club in Pall Mall on January 14 - and friends and colleagues are welcome too but places must be booked in advance.
The Society holds meetings and receptions through the year to discuss topics of current interest to its members, such as communications legislation, privacy and the press, the future of public service broadcasting, political reporting and the development of digital services.
It stands for freedom of expression and the encouragement of high standards in journalism. It is unique in bringing together people working in all branches of the media.
More information is available from the Society website.
