County Child, a bi-monthly regional parenting title, is due to launch this month in Berkshire.
A team of experienced national and local freelance journalists have been recruited, and together with specialised guest columnists, they've have been busy writing content for the last few months on the magazine's blend of content - ranging from health, travel and cookery features, to celebrity interviews, book reviews and locally relevant articles.


Archant-run Cotswold Life magazine is celebrating its biggest-ever scoop, with royal Zara Phillips, just weeks after achieving its biggest-ever sale and largest-ever publication.
The magazine, from the 14-strong Archant Life portfolio of county titles, grabbed the exclusive interview with Cotswold resident Zara Phillips, 10th in line to the throne, from under the noses of several leading celebrity-based national magazines.


Journalism students from Harlow College have been on a visit to their local council chamber, to see how business is conducted at Epping Forest Council.
Course tutors Liza Donaldson and Ros Johnson took 28 students along to what must have been the most packed public gallery for years.


A new exhibition by freelance photographer Kim Cessford has opened in Angus.

The challenge put to Evening Express writer Raymond Anderson ten years ago, to cover nostalgia stories about Aberdeen, has resulted in five popular books on the subject.
The latest, Aberdeen in the Seventies: A Decade of Change, looks at the rapid social and economic changes that took place during those years.
