The Grimsby Telegraph's football writer has returned to the press box after being barred by Grimsby Town FC.
The club took exception to some of what Stuart Rowson wrote and even failed to relent when the paper published what amounted to a prominent 470-word apology.
Subsequent discussions between the club and the newspaper resulted in an agreement being reached - and coverage is now back to normal.
Sports editor Geoff Ford had covered the games in Stuart's absence, and Stuart himself continued to report on away games.
The row was over the club's policy on having a matchday ambulance on standby at the ground.
The crowd numbers at some matches meant it was something the club felt it could do without.
