Media trio to face the public in lecture series

Two senior regional press journalists are to face the public at a university lecture tonight.

Scunthorpe Telegraph editor Jon Grubb and Lincolnshire Echo assistant editor Richard Bowyer will be joined by the managing editor of Radio Lincolnshire, Charlie Partridge, for the event at the University of Lincoln.

The tables will be turned on the trio when university students and members of the public fire questions at them at the forum.

The latest event in the lecture series Journalists Speak Out on Journalism will see them discuss roles and the problems faced by local journalists - and then answer questions from the floor.

Admission to the event, at 6pm in the Cargill Lecture Theatre at the university's Brayford Pool campus, is free and the event is open to the public.
