Newcastle Evening Chronicle's Chron'll Fix It!, in association with Barclays, is back this autumn with £50,000 to give away to local community groups.
For a six-week period, readers will be able to collect tokens for their chosen project. At the end of this period, the projects with the highest number of tokens will have their dreams come true until the £50,000 prize fund has been spent.


A York Evening Press campaign to keep the famous Mystery Plays alive has won backing from a key organisation.
York Guilds' Wagon Plays Board wants to stage plays on the backs of moving wagons on the city streets in 2006.


Tamworth Herald assistant editor John Harper will present a night of nostalgia, words and music to raise money for the town's Christmas lights display.


The Huddersfield Daily Examiner is setting aside two pages every Monday to publicise community events.
It is the first in a series of special features the paper is introducing over the next few weeks.


The fantastic Foundations will be headlining this year's This Is Bristol Spectacular III - the Bristol Evening Post's annual family variety show on November 8, which will raise money for The Newspaper Press Fund and the Lord Mayor of Bristol's Christmas Appeal.
