It's a knockout!

Staff at the Archant-owned Lowestoft Journal proved they were game for a laugh when they took part in an It's A Knockout competition as part of a local carnival.

Editor Russell Cook led a team of ten eager newspaper men and women as they slipped in foam and slid over huge inflatable obstacles in a bid to become knockout champions.

Competing against nine other local teams, Journal staff competed in various nursery rhyme-themed games, including putting Humpty Dumpty back together again in the fastest time and collecting dog bones from Mother Hubbard's cupboard.

But despite giving it their all, the Journal team just missed out on the medals, finishing in fourth place.
