A charitable organisation is looking for a would-be journalist to join them on a three week adventure on a trip to Moldova.
Members of the Moldova Orphans Fellowship are planning a trip to the former Soviet state as part of an initiative to raise awareness and financially support children in Moldavia orphanages on a long-term basis.
Organiser Colin Livermore said: "We are hoping to go over there in the next four to five weeks and are just waiting for confirmation from the government.
"We will then spend three days travelling, two weeks over there and then three days travelling back."
The team is looking for someone to travel with them to report their activities and take photographs to help the foundation promote its work.
While in Moldova the team will spend time gathering statistics and information and working with the government to find out where the money is needed and how it can best be distributed. They will also travel to orphanages to meet the children and their carers.
The foundation will pay all the expenses of the chosen journalist, plus a small fee, and they will be free to sell their work to newspapers or magazines once they return from the trip.
Colin said: "We are looking for someone who is perhaps just finding their feet in journalism.
"They will need to be able to think for themselves, have lots of ideas and be a team player."
